YOU'VE GOTTA TRY THIS!!! THURSDAY

If you are just tuning in, here is a link to my original post about "YOU'VE GOTTA TRY THIS THURSDAYS". Check it out and then join in!!

I have 2 things this week...

The first is the Amazing Grace Soundtrack. I have never seen the movie, but I love the music from the soundtrack! If you have iTunes you should check it out!

The second thing I think you've gotta try is a series of books by Francine Rivers. I know she has written numerous books, but I have started reading her Lineage of Grace series. (the link is to the first book in the series) The series has 5 books in it, each one about an unlikely women in the Bible who has changed the course of history. They are 5 of the women who were named in the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew. I have only read the first one, but think it's great!

Okay, your turn...what is your YOU'VE GOT TO TRY THIS??? It doesn't have to be music or a book, it can be anything you want!!!

Like both of your suggestions. The movie is very good--watch it some time. Since you referred to music, my gotta try this is the CD I've been listening to this naptime: Caedmon's Call "Overdressed". It is their latest and Derek Webb is back with the group, which I love. Aren't they from Texas?

OK- I LOVE this post idea! I have got my google reader up and going, and will be trying the sopapilla things this weekend. I have heard so much about Francine Rivers books from some other bloggers, and I can't wait to get my hands on some.
You Gotta Try This-
*I've talked about this before, but it was before you were reading my blog, so I will reuse it.

Kraft Foods puts out a FREE magazine 4 times a year, with great, easy recipes and ideas. You can go to kraftfoods.com, and sign up. Like I said, FREE. I have gotten so many ideas from their magazines, and they also send me free coupons to try new products they are coming out with. Check it out!

I love that kraft foods mag too! My favorite books are a series by Karen Kingsbury. The Redemption series, followed by the Firstborn series and the Sunrise series. . they're all about the Baxter family and I LOVE THEM but have a box of kleenex near you while you read!

Hi Jennifer-
What a fun idea this is! I'm always looking for something new to read, I'll have to check these out.
We made some 3D paper snowflakes today and they were so much fun.

I was intimidated when I first saw them on a friend's blog, but I thought I'd give them a shot with Judah and he even made one by himself.

I like that series also. I recommend the devotional book "Just give me a little piece of quiet" by Lorilee Craker. Funny and encouraging! You could probably get it at a Christian bookstore and also www.mops.org.
