Christmas Eve eve!

We've had a great day just relaxing and hanging around the house with the kiddos today.
We indulged the kid's sugar cravings by making some sugar cone Christmas trees and it was a huge hit!

{Poor Grayson just got a cone and some candy...he put his cone on his cup and ate the candy!}

Tonight after baths the kids put on their jammies and crawled into bed, only to find a golden ticket in their beds. They were shocked and then figured out we were all boarding the Minivan Express with hot chocolate and Christmas-light-looking on the agenda.

And this picture was taken about 2 seconds before Brayden decided she didn't feel well and puked all over the floor.
Not to worry, she immediately felt better and we all hopped in the car!
Grayson was obsessed with his ticket and loved all of the lights!
{Kenny rode in the back with Brayden just in case she had another...problem...but she didn't! Weird.}
We had a great day and are excited about Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

Our Candy Cottage!

Our Elf on the Shelf, Nelf, brought us a fun surprise last night. We got our very own Candy Cottage and all that we needed to decorate it! The kids {and Kenny and I} had a blast. Grayson was our candy taste tester and as you can see from the progression of pictures...he took his job very seriously! We may or may not have done this at 9:30 this morning. Nothing like a sugar high first thing in the morning! We are excited about making Candy Cottages for all holidays and celebrations now! Thanks Nelf!

Picture Post

Grayson will probably kill me for this someday...
And no, his sister did not do this to him. He put them on himself.
We had some snow last week so Kenny took the big kids out to do some sledding!

Grayson stayed home with me, but still wanted to wear this hat. He was so cool!
Thanks Pinterest!
Each month Kennan's school focuses on a character trait. This month they are talking about being trustworthy and one of Kennan's teachers chose him to win an award!
We are super proud of Kennan!!
Silly boy watching TV one morning. I guess this is comfortable?
"CHARGE!!!"
{ And yes, he did this to himself. He won't wear his Thomas the train costume, but will wear his sister's tutus and necklaces all day long!}
Pretty princess...
Kennan's new friends, Stevenson and Bob. Haha!

Nelf the Elf, Part 2

Nelf keeps the kids on their toes! They loooove to wake up in the morning and search for him together!
