Almost Walking!

Our not-so-baby boy is ALMOST walking!

He will be 16 months on the 9th of July, so I'm thinking it's about time!
{Although I am sure I will want to take that back when he actually his!!}

He usually only walks when being bribed {food or toy} OR when he thinks no one is looking. Stinker!

My Birthday Present!

For my birthday this year my parents gave me Photoshop Elements 9. I am just now getting around to using/learning the software...and I think I've found a new love! I've been playing around a little tonight and here are a few of the changes I've made!

A Busy Day!

Our last day at my parent's house we jammed pack the day with fun!

We started off at the museum and did a little art...

3D movie watching,

and water play!

Then we went to lunch and back to my parent's house.

Grayson stayed with my mom and I took the big kids to the zoo. We absolutely love this zoo and couldn't be in town and NOT go. So we braved the heat and sweated our way through all of the exhibits. I had a great time with Kennan and Brayden and they had fun too!

Father's Day!

I am thankful for my daddy, the man who raised me to be the person I am today.

I am also thankful for my husband, my baby daddy, the man I am raising our children with.

This year we spent father's day away from him. I was super sad about it, but thankful that he let me and the kids go spend sometime with our parents. The kids Skyped with Kenny after church and even did a little dance for him {thanks to Mr. Popper's Penguins}.

I hated to be away from Kenny on Father's Day but I was thankful to spend it with my daddy!

Pool Party!

My parents have an above ground pool and the kids loved every single swim they had in it!

They had daily pool parties and if a day was missed, it meant two parties the next day!!

Cousin Carrie even came over for a few pool parties!

Legoland!

The kids and I spent this last week visiting friends and family back home. Kenny had to stay and work {someone's gotta do it!}. We had a blast and spent our first day there at Legoland. Kenny's parents met us there and we had a great time!

Last T-Ball Game!

Kennan had his last t-ball game a few weeks ago. It was a warm night and Grammy was there to enjoy it with us. Next year he moves up to coach pitch baseball! Can't wait!!

New Video Camera!

We took the plunge the other day and bought a new video camera. Our old one recorded onto tapes which means you have to own a VHS player to watch them. I'm pretty sure we haven't owned one of those in years!! We got a Kodak Play-Touch and so far we love it! {It did take a little while to get the software figured out, but once we did it's been smooth sailing!}

15 Months!

I can't believe our sweet baby boy is 15 months old today!

Time is flying by and I wish so much that it would just slow down!

{This is kind of a hodge podge post with random little tidbits about our baby boy}.

Grayson is very curious. And adventurous.

Except for when it came to riding this pony. At first he was enjoying himself, barking at the pony, but as soon as it moved he freaked out! Kenny quickly pulled him off!

Grayson still isn't walking.

He does stand alone and will take a step or two here and there.

I think he could do it if he really wanted too...but he's not just there yet!

SUCCESS!

Grayson seems to be a creature of habit. He sleeps with the same blanket, plays with the same toys {usually Kennan and Brayden's...not his own!}, he always freaks out when someone is in the kitchen because it MUST be time to eat.

He looves to play with the popcorn popper, oil and seasonings. These seem to be his go-to entertainment whenever he needs something to do. On this particular day I caught him trying to stack them. He was successful!

He had a little help when it came to the top on this one. But it was hilarious when he picked up his foot to knock them over!

Grayson has a great, playful personality. He loves to play with the foam darts for Kennan's Nerf guns {you can see 2 of them going for a ride in the school bus in the pic below}. The other day I looked down the hall to see him with his pacifier in his hand and dart in his mouth. Silly boy!

Now for the boring stuff: Eating is going well...he usually eats anything put in front of him. If he doesn't like something he throws it on the floor immediately! He looves to drink milk and water. Grayson has 8 teeth and it doesn't look like anymore are coming anytime soon. He sleeps great - usually 7pm to 7am with a short morning nap and longer afternoon nap. We have a 15 month appointment scheduled for later in the month - can't wait to see how much he weighs!
