The Loose Tooth

Kennan has had this loose tooth for a few months now. He went to the dentist yesterday and the dentist said that this tooth needs to come out ASAP! This is what Kennan thinks about that...

So, we tried this afternoon. The apple didn't work...

Daddy giving a few tugs didn't work...

And the constant wiggling didn't work...

It's still hanging in there!!!!

You can see that the permanent tooth has already come in behind it! I tell Kennan that he looks like a shark and he thinks that's pretty cool. Maybe that's why he's hanging on to it and it won't come out!

Valentine's Day

I made the kid's Valentines this year, with the help of Pinterest!!

We made another Candy Cottage!

Valentine's Day morning!

(Each kiddo got a little toy, sticker/art pad and a small box of chocolates.)

Grayson loved heart shaped cinnamon rolls that Kenny made (especially the icing!).

Brayden's class party was actually the week before, on the same day she was Star Student. Grayson loved being in the middle of the big kids!

Kennan's party on Valentine's Day...yes, this is the best (and only picture) I took!

For dinner on Valentine's Day the kiddos had heart shaped grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup and some sparkling cider.

"CHEERS!" (Yes, Grayson is drinking out of a pink sippy cup!)

After the kids ate, we started on our adult dinner...

Steak, potatoes, asparagus and shrimp. Yummy! I think this is the first time in the 3 1/2 years we've lived here that we used all 4 burners at the same time! Ha!

She's a Super Star!

Brayden's class has a "Star Student" every week and Brayden had her turn a few weeks ago.

Tiger Cub and Hula Girl!

Kennan joined Cub Scouts this last summer and is loving every minute of it. I love that it is something he and Kenny get to do together. (Kenny is an Eagle Scout so he has really enjoyed doing this with Kennan). Who knows? Maybe in 12-ish years we will have another Eagle Scout in the family!!

Brayden's school has some really fun traditions and the Hawaiian Luau is one of them. Here the kids are all seated in the airplane (hallway) ready to go to Hawaii! They are listening to their captain (school administrator) give a safety talk! Ha!

Excuses for not blogging for a month...

1. I blog and edit pictures off of the laptop, which is Kenny's work computer. Kenny has been working a lot of evenings lately.

2. I have three kids who consume all of me every single day.

3. When I finally sit down in the evening, all I want to do is fall asleep.

4. I'm tired!

5. I feel like I have to have a big, long post ever time I blog.

(Which will explain all of the posts I am about to do!)

6. I read other blogs through Google Reader so I hardly ever go to actual blogs and comment. Sorry about that blog friends! I am going to work on it!!

7. Did I mention I am tired and have 3 kids?? :)

Is anyone still reading this? I know my mom is (thanks mom for not pointing out that it has been a month!), my grandfather used to, and a few friends here and there. Any lurkers?? Come out, come out wherever you are!
