A Kennan Story
Kennan and Kenny just got done reading The Tale of the Three Trees for his bedtime story. After they were done, Kennan came running into the kitchen to tell me that, "I want to be a boat that takes Jesus up to heaven. And when God sees me he will laugh so hard and say 'Kennan you are a boat, that is so funny.' " And he went on to say "And then God will tell Jesus that he is his Son."
I love this kid.

Although, based on my relationship with Kennan, I might say that he should be a racecar or a train, instead of a boat, to take Jesus to heaven. But, that is just my personal opinion... :)

What a neat story. I always find it amazing how kids can just tap into the spirit that way. Maybe that's part of what Jesus was talking about with "faith like these."
I hope you're loving your new placee of ministry. I know the church will be blessed by your generous spirit and Kenny's authenticity. And of course two of the cutest kids, who by the way also look VERY similar - even if they are boy and girl (it's the eyes :0).
