I thought about posting 200 pictures, but realized you have probably seen all the cute ones.
I thought about posting 200 knock-knock jokes and decided there probably aren't enough funny ones out there.
So, I decided to just get to the point. Let's have a giveaway!! I couldn't decide what would be the best kind of prize since I have many types of readers...grandparents, mommies, daddies, singles, marrieds...anyway, you get the point. So....the prize is going to be a set of candles, just in time for the cool fall weather. I love to light candles up all over the house, and figured it would be a great prize for anyone who wins!!
The rules are easy. Post a comment on this blog entry and tell me how much you love me. Just kidding. Tell me the favorite post or picture you have seen on my blog since you've been reading. Easy, right?? One entry per person, please! Phone lines...I mean comments...will stay open until Sunday at midnight CST. I will have an unbiased member of my household pick the winner (all the names in a hat) and then post it on my blog Monday morning.
The fine print: I am going to be away at a wedding until Sunday and didn't want to only leave comments open until tomorrow night, that is why there is so much time!! I also don't know how much access to the internet I will have until then, so don't leave your email address on your comment as a way for me to get in touch with you (unless you don't care if others see it).I will just post it on the blog and if I can reach you another way, I will, and if not we will pick another winner after a few days of the winner not claiming the prize. Edited to add: You can still comment even if you don't have a blog or blogger profile. Just leave your comment and click on anonymous. Make sure to sign your name (and maybe last initial) so I know who you are!!
Happy commenting!!

okay, Jennifer it is way too hard to choose just one out of 200!!! I went back and looked at old ones, to see if that would help me choose, but I can't. I love the posts with pictures of your beautiful children, and I also really like you've gotta try this thursdays, i know i wasn't always good about participating, but i really liked that and I think you should do it again:)
I like the ones where you compare pictures of the kids (like Kennan with the pumpkins in past years). You'll have to do that this fall, and start the tradition with Brayden too. I also like the videos you post, especially the one of Kennan dancing!!!
I like the blog entry where you showed off the picture that you took that won the best picture (self portrait) in your photo class. I thought that was a really cool picture and cool that you won!Oh, and the pics from my wedding :) I of course, love all the pics of the kiddos too. Jill
Congrats on 200!! I really love your blog, and check it often. I couldn't think of anything when I hit 100, so I kind of skipped over it. I will have to do something for 200, though.
MAN! Everybody took mine. I immediately thought of You Gotta Try This Thursdays (you probably knew that, I was always saying how much fun those were) and the self portrait, with part of you in the foreground and your family in the back. That is the coolest picture I have ever seen. Those are definitely my favs, but I will say something different from everybody else and say when you took us on a virtual tour through your new Pampa home- I loved seeing all those pics, too.
It is really hard to pick my fav posts, but I loved the ones in New Jersey. It was fun to see you when you were so far and see you and your family grow. I loved all of the pictures you took down by the canal I think with the leaves and I loved seeing the snow. I think I check your blog more often than anyone else. I can't wait to see what happens in the next 100 posts. Keep up the good work!
I hope to make it up that way sometime in the fall. I will keep you posted.
I agree with Amber - my favorite posts are the ones where you show past year's photos too - like with the pumpkins, or Easter. It's fun seeing the comparisons!
I really enjoy your blog and keeping up with your family. I also like the "you gotta try this" (especially the one about the slushie mug!) and the pic of your family for your class. But, if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the portraits of Hannah and Kennan (which I know I am partial to because Gretchen and I just had this done for Harry and Edith).
Your fellow Texan (!), Cam
My favorite picture is definitely Kennan's underwear toolbelt. How creative!! I miss you guys and can't wait to visit!
yay for blogging! I love looking at pictures of the kids. It's sad that we all live away from each other and can't see them in person as much as I'd like, but I love getting to see them grow up! I have to agree with Amber and Christi, I love seeing the comparison photos, it's fun to see how the kids change over time. love y'all!
I would have Loved 200 pics... your kids are so cute!
I like all your many photos, but my favorite is the one you won with in your class.
I remember how I struggled to post 100 things about me for my 100th post. I cheated and made MaddieLynn do some!
There are several pictures of Brayden in the little white chair in the backyard that I like. My favorite is where she is kind of leaning over the arm of the chair. I think it was when she was 11 months old. She just looked so grown up in that picture from how I remember her here. I miss you guys a lot.
hmmmmmmm... favorite post??? I love them all!! I hope you know how much I have appreciated your posts. They were a true blessing to me while you were in New Jersey. But don't stop, I still love them and look forward to them.
I love you! Mom
Wow 200....I am jealous.
My favorite post would have to be Oct 21, 2007. The pictures when the family got to see Brayden for the first time. To see the pictures of how much our babies have changed in a years time is amazing. Love ya cous...
February 21, 2008. The one in which you recommend the BBC series...Blue Planet. We got the first one from the library a month or so ago and really liked it!
Congratulations on 200 posts!
Shannon
Great idea Jennifer! I love your blogs...you're consistent and creative, and you give lots of pics. :) One of my favorites has to be the progression of Hannah and Kennan pics from March 08. It reminds me of how important close friends are, raising kids together, and what a blessing good friends can be. The last one from this past year captures Kennan's best "excited" face. :)
Jen,
I am posting after the deadline and I have no interest in winning the prize (not because it isn't cool, because candles are cool... or hot, but because your other readers may become restless). I wanted to post a comment because I love reading your blog because you are so funny. I love the comments you make under pictures. I am glad that so many people get to see how beautiful, smart, and creative you are! And how cute our kids are. Love, Kenny
well, you are so talented in the photography artform! I LOVE the pic of Brayden sticking her tongue out! Adorable--you''ll use that one at her high school graduation!
