The entire month of November we've been talking with the kids about what it means to be thankful and naming off things we are thankful for. It's been fun to talk about it around the dinner table and while we are out and about. This year I am thankful for our little family of 5. We spent all day together, just the 5 of us, and I'm happy to say we all survived! Kenny and I made an abbreviated Thanksgiving meal and it turned out super yummy. We watched some football and Polar Express, played outside and just had a great day.
Kenny prepared the turkey and it came out great!! We also had homemade rolls {see the Pinterest post a few posts down}, mashed potatoes and gravy and broccoli rice casserole. Then we topped it off with a pumpkin pie and whipped cream!
Here's the turkey...
Kennan and Brayden ready to eat! We ate off our china and let the big kids drink out of glass glasses!!!
Who's ready for turkey?
Grayson was!!!
Grayson was!!!
An extremely horrible picture, but a memory nonetheless...
This was Grayson at dinner time, maybe his shirt was getting too tight?
And here's a final picture of our thankful tree! It was a fun project and one we will do again next year!
Happy Thanksgiving blog readers!!
