Last night, our doorbell rang unexpectedly. Kennan and I ran with anticipation to the front door not knowing what we would find. It wasn't the UPS man or a friend wanting to play...it was a little orange package that said "BOO"!!! We looked around and saw no one in sight so we took the bag into our house. It was after the candy, stickers, and tattoos had been discovered that we realized we had been BOO-ed!!.JPG)
If you are like me, then you have no idea what it means to be "BOO-ed". Let me explain...it is like a "tag your it" game involving Halloween/fall items. After you are BOO-ed, you place a sign on your front door so that no one else will get you. Then you have to go out and purchase enough fun things to BOO 2 friends. They are to go on and do the same thing until everyone you know has been BOO-ed!!
So, we did our job and went out to the Dollar Tree to buy the perfect BOO-ing items...
Then we went to the first house and were very sneaky...

After leaving the package and ringing the door bell we ran away as fast as we could!!
Then we were off to the second house...even more sneaky this time!.JPG)

After an eventful night of BOO-ing, it was only fitting to come home and have a nice warm chili dinner that had been cooking all day in the crockpot (because isn't that what you are supposed to do in the fall???).
Brayden loved it!!!

Well, there you have it. We have been BOO-ed and we returned the favor to 2 more friends. I think everyone should give this a try!! Go to http://www.organizedchristmas.com/ for the printouts that you put with the goodies that explain what is going on. And after you BOO, enjoy a warm dinner (because it is fall, you know).

(Princeton friends...why didn't we do this when we lived there?? If you are still there give this a try! What a fun tradition!!)

I have heard of this, and it is super cute! Looks like y'all had a blast- what a cute post. It seems like y'all are really loving Pampa life!
Thanks for always leaving sweet comments- I think y'all would really like the tamale pie, you should try it!
BTW, I saw you were using crockpot bags. Do you like those? Does it affect the food at all?
How fun! What a cute idea!!! I am sure Kennan LOVED all the excitement.
I LOVE how yall are dressed all cozy in your warm clothes and having chili for dinner. Sounds soooooooo GOOD!
Cute pictures of boo-ing! :)
what a cute tradition! It's been a while since I stopped by and Brayden is suddenly huge, and incredibly cute of course. :)
That is awesome. I love it. Yes, definitely perfect for CRW. Maybe I will have to start it. If I can get my act together and get organized that is. I'm always running behind these days.
I hadn't heard of this either, but its too fun! I love the pictures of you guys in action. Might be something I won't do until I have kiddos, but I am definitely passing it on to my friends. SO cute!
Such cute pictures! We got Boo-ed last night too! Thank goodness you told me what to do because I didn't know and there were no instructions in our Boo bag. We will have to make to the dollar store soon, but I don't know about coming home to a warm dinner in the crock pot since it's still supposed to be 85 all weekend...
