In the hustle and bustle of my daily life, I sometimes forget about taking care of myself.
So, this question goes for EVERYONE (men, women, husbands, wives, moms, dads)...
I want to know what you do to have some "me" time.
What do you do to "get away"???
(The fine print: Don't misunderstand me here. I love being a wife. I love being a mom. I love being a sister and a daughter. I love being a friend. But sometimes I need a break...a "time out", if you will. This is where you come in.)

I enjoy getting outside and going on walks. On a different note, I just got caught up on your blog. Your kids are too cute, Braden is so big! The Fall has been gorgeous here, and we still miss ya: )!
I stay up, after the kids and hubby have gone to bed and watch one of MY tv shows or read. Going to bed a little later is so worth it to me to get some quiet, unwinding time to myself.
Girl, I am curious as to what you and others come up with! The most frequent is from 8-8:30am almost daily I sit on our porch and read ALONE. :) Otherwise, a trip to the mall works since I don't have safe CRW to walk around by myself.
Get away... hm... does extra long showers count? 'Cause I definetly use my shower time (really, my bathroom time) as me time. I also read excessively which is a great release. :)
I ask Adam to put Haven to give Haven a bath and put her to bed every once in a while so I can just veg. Read blogs, take a bath whatever.
I love the mud pics in your last post. I'm all about a bubble bath for relaxing!
I workout. I have NEVER liked working out....never. We live right by a YMCA and I take the kids and do my cardio while I watch a morning TV show. It really makes me feel like I had 'me' time. Even if it is 45 minutes. I also attend a Ladies Bible class on Thursdays and I LOVE it. It gives me 'adult me' time once a week...it's the best thing I have done for myself in a long time! I am also looking to join a MOPS group. We shall see how that goes!!!
But I'm totally with you. I have to have time to myself to stay sane!!! HA!
I stay up after the kids go to bed and blog/scrapbook/watch TV. I also have MOPS--which I love.
I also have a bible study that I do every week. That is about it!
