We made it to Abilene this afternoon safe and sound! It was a good trip...both kids napped!!!!!
Brayden woke up again today with a fever and seemed even more upset and irritable than the days before. We are lucky enough to have a doctor friend in Abilene (the same one who delivered Kennan) so I gave her a call and they were able to work her in. The verdict is...double ear infections!!!! YUCK! Poor, sweet baby girl. We are pumping her with antibiotics and tylenol so hopefully she will be herself by Sunday. Thanks for your thoughts and well wishes.
We will be in Abilene until Monday morning and will make the 5 hour drive to Pampa then. Can't wait to be in our house!

On our last trip to CA, when Hannah got an ear infection, she was running around after less than 24 hours of antibiotics (I think it was the Tylenol and Motrin combo that did it for her...). (In fact, Hannah went to the ER Saturday and was acting better by Sunday morning in church). Hopefully, Brayden will have a similiar recovery -- I'm sure there are lots of people in Abilene who need to be charmed!
Do you have something like auralgan drops? They are just for the ear pain but I think they helped Abbey until the tylenol kicked in.
We leave here for a week in Hawaii July 21 and then straight to San Antonio. I'm not looking forward to the jet lag but I actually think I prefer it to long road tripping- you are a great mommy! Prayers for continued safe travel and quick healing.
