Back by popular demand (okay, not really but Kristen asked!!)...
See my original post about Thursdays if you don't know what is going on...
Here is my idea for the week. I don't know about you, but I hate making grocery lists! Now, I have heard of people doing this before (and you probably do it already) but I came up with a generic grocery list on the computer. It is organized by the layout of my local grocery store. I typed in the things on it that we always need...eggs, bread, fruit, veggies, etc, left spaces for things to be added, and printed it off the computer. Then I made up my meal list for the week and wrote in all the things I would need to complete those meals that weren't already on the list. I don't feel like it saved me too much time or energy this first go round because I had to create the list, but I am confident that it will save me time in the future!
What is your YOU'VE GOTTA TRY THIS IDEA???

YEAH!! I really do love this post. Thanks for doing it!! And...what a great idea! I have heard about doing your list in groups (produce, canned goods, dairy, etc.) but this is way better because you tailor it to your store. And I have never heard of making a master list with the things you buy all the time. Way to go, Jennifer!
My you've gotta try this is not really anything new, but just something I did with the kids that they liked. We made some jello jigglers last week and it was really fun. Use the sugar-free kind of jello, I found out it works much better. It has it on the box, but you just pour about a cup of boiling water (for each package of sugar free jello) and stir until dissolved. Then pour jello mixture into a pan and put in the refrigerator for a few hours. Use cookie cutters to cut out fun jello shapes!!!
Okay, I didn't ask for it, but I did check for it every Thursday.
Love the shopping list idea, I'll have to check yours out.
My gotta try it -- find a friend who you can trade off making dinners for, it provides both fun hangout time and a night where you don't have to cook! Plus, most meals make enough for two small families.
Now, I'll go back to relaxing during nap time -- I don't have to make dinner tonight.... :)

I love it when you do this too. I sadly just dont come up with much to try.
Our easter baskets actually arent PBK. I got them last year at Michaels and then had their names put on them. BUT I was COPYING PBK!! I actually do a lot of copying from the stores I love! :)
I was acutally going to post something like this for my 1st You've Gotta Try This post. Check out www.e-mealz.com. They do exactly what you did, except streamline the process from week to week. It only costs $5 a month!
This sounds similar to my sister-in-law's list. She has a master list of absolutely everything they ever buy, organized into groups to match the grocery store, laminated on the refrigerator. When she sees they need something she just makes a check next to it with erasable marker. Then she takes the laminated list to the store, uses it, wipes it off, and puts it back on the fridge.
