Kennan is Three!!!

It is so hard for me to believe that as of 2:54 (CST) Kennan was three years old! Our baby is growing up so fast! He has quite a little personality and teaches us so much everyday. Here are a few things you might want to know about Kennan...

~Kennan is such a creative and imaginative little boy. He loves to play and reenact scenes from movies or stories he has seen and heard. Cars is by far his favorite and he can pretty much quote the entire movie. (Not too sure if that is something for a parent to brag about, but oh well.)

~Kennan is such a great big brother. The other day at lunch Brayden was crying a little and he said (in a really high pitched voice) "It's okay sister. I'm here." He also loves to "protect her".

~He is getting really good at potty training. (We had a few accidents this last week but we have been really busy and traveling a lot.)

~Here are a few of his funnies lately...

~While we have been in Texas, he has informed us that "Sorry, we can't go back to NJ because we are too busy."~

~If he asks us a question and we say we don't know the answer he says, "Well of course you do."~

So to celebrate, in true birthday fashion, we have had two birthday parties (and another one when we get back to NJ)! Get ready for some pictures!!!

Our first party was on Saturday at my aunt and uncle's house in the country...so we had a farm themed party.

Kennan got to gather a few fresh eggs. If you look real close you will notice a small problem with one of the eggs...oops! Guess that is what happens when a 3 year old gets ahold of eggs!

As you can see, we have had a great visit in Texas! I guess I can tell all of you in blogworld that the main reason we came to Texas was to visit a church. The visit went really well and we are excited about the opportunities that the future holds. I know that is pretty vague and hopefully I will be able to share more at a later date. We head back to NJ tomorrow afternoon and are looking forward to sleeping in our own beds! We are going to have a party for Kennan next weekend with all of our NJ friends and it is going to be a music and instrument party...Kennan's exact request. And then it's Easter! I can't believe how fast this year is going by. The most exciting part is that Kenny graduates 2 months for tomorrow! WOW!
