Our original Spring Break plans included a trip to Denver, CO to visit my cousin and his wife. Kenny was going to teach Kennan to ski and we were going to do some fun "Denver" things. Well, things changed and life happened. We decided it was better for our family to go back "home" instead to visit other family.
To make it up to the kids we decided to surprise them with a night at *A Really Popular and Fun Indoor Water Park and Hotel* . We dropped Grayson off with the grandparents and loaded Kennan and Brayden back up in the car. Kennan was NOT happy about getting back in the car and pouted the entire way to our destination which was only 5 minutes away. As we were driving through the driveway of *A Really Popular and Fun Indoor Water Park and Hotel* Kennan started to figure it out and the pout wiped off his face pretty quickly!!

After we took our excited to be at the water park pictures we left the camera in the room. Last year, about this time, we went to this same place and our camera got stolen. (You might remember that from this post.) We learned our lesson and only took the camera down for a few minutes the next morning.

We had a BLAST and it was so much fun to SURPRISE the kids with a fun night in a hotel with many hours of fun at the water park! It was also nice to spend some time with the big kids while Grayson got all of the attention from his Lala, Grumpy and Uncle Chris. What a fun 24 hours!
Funny story from our trip to the water park that I have to write down to remember:
We were sitting at a stop light with airplanes taking off and landing on the left side of our car (which is Kennan's side of the car).
K: I see 2 airplanes! One is taking off and one is landing.
B: Kennan, I wish I was you.
K: Why?
B: So I could have super excellent eyesight.
K: Why?
B: So I could see airplanes too.
It was sooo cute. Brayden couldn't see the airplanes because they were on Kennan's side of the car and she sits too high up to see them. Hilarious!

I love that place! It's so nice to go there and unwind and it totally feels like you're a world away from everything. So glad you guys had a good trip!
