Not only was today a snow day, it was Grayson's 11 month birthday!!
Grayson has spent the last 3-4 weeks just not feeling himself. It has been rough for Kenny and I to not know what is wrong with him. It seemed like when he got better, something else happened and he would get sick again. At one doctor appointment, they did a blood test to rule out any infection. His white blood count was fine, but red blood cell count was low. We've started him on vitamin with iron which will hopefully help him get some energy back. We think he is finally on the mend and might have 2 new teeth popping through any day now. This is how sweet boy has spent a lot of his time the past few weeks...
Grayson loves playing! He loves to laugh, chase people around and have fun! In this particular picture, Kenny had just come home and Grayson was so excited to see him. Kenny got down on his level and Grayson crawled toward him and head butted Kenny! It was hilarious...and Grayson kept doing it over and over again!
We are still trying to get Grayson to eat well. He seems to be very picky, which can be very frustrating. He won't eat green stuff (which is why his iron was low) so I've been searching for things for him to eat. Don't think any less of me, but one of Grayson's favorite foods right now is liverwurst on crackers. Yuck, right?!?! He devours it and it's giving him some calories, iron and protein that he is lacking. He also loves yogurt and bananas. Here is a picture from him at lunch today...

I finally got a good shot of Grayson's fang!!!! I think it is so funny! The one on the other side is working on making it's way in.

The next 4 weeks are going to fly by and before we know it Grayson is going to be stuffing his face with birthday cake!!

I LVED liverwurst as a kid--not yucky at all! But I hope he truly is on the mend, for all your sakes. That's a long time to have to watch a baby feel puny, which is so hard.

Amelia is almost eight months old...and still toothless!!
Cole has gone through picky stages as well. His daycare provider said he is the pickiest kid she has ever had. I still can't get him to eat regular veggies and fruit and have to give him the baby food for those. He loves meat, bread products and yogurt. My biggest issue is he won't drink a lot of milk!!! I know how you feel!! Hoping my next one will be better!!
