Kenny and I both started cracking up and then really started wishing that it was Rosa's! I guess the pink and green neon lights on the building brought back memories of Texas for Kennan! He now can't wait for our trip back to Texas at Christmas so that we can go there as much as we want!

Rosa's, Oh Rosa's
Tonight on our way home from dinner, we passed a Mexican restaurant called Chevy's. We have many friends here who LOVE to go to Chevy's. No offense to them (they are West Coasters) or all of the East Coasters around here, but this place is nothing compared to the Tex-Mex that can be found in Texas. We have tried it a few times, but still think of Rosa's any time we go there or to any other Mexican food place around here. Well, tonight as we were passing Chevy's Kennan yells out "Rosa's!!"

Haha your post has reminded me not to take the Rosa's 2 minutes away from our place for granted any more. :)
I am just commenting to say that I am a West Coaster and I can't stand Chevy's. We do like On The Border pretty well but as far as Chevy's goes, we will never eat there again. Yuck!
MMM Rosa's!!
jeri
I do take Rosa's taco tuesday's for granted.MMMM...it is tuesday...maybe I will have a taco for you...or 3.
I take Tex-Mex sooo for granted. I don't know how you can live without it!
I love it! And I totally agree. Other parts of the U.S. just simply don't know good Mexican food. Tex-Mex tops them all. Can't wait to see you soon!
So how do I add the Blogs I read thing to my blog and how do I make my pic show up when I comment, and why is this so hard for me!
Oh, there is no such thing as Mexican food here, we have Taco Bell on base and consider ourselves lucky. Did they have Rosa's in 2002? That was the last time I lived in Texas and I do not know Rosa's. Hmmm. And you got to go home in October and at Christmas? You are soooooo lucky! I am so ready to visit I probably will not want to come back to Japan at all after that. Except that people driving like total maniacs on the right side of the road really scares me now!
