100th POST!!

I have made it to post 100...and it only took me a year!! Here is what has been going on...

Brayden had her 4 month check up on Tuesday. She doesn't actually turn 4 months until Sunday, but we got her in early. She weighs 11 pounds 11 ounces (17th percentile) and is 24 1/4 inches long (58th percentile). She is long and lean!! (Kennan was like that also.) Except for the dry skin she is great! She is so much fun these days. She loves to smile and giggle. The other day Kennan had her laughing really hard...it was a laugh from deep down in her belly. It is so much fun to watch them interact. Here is a picture of our sweet girl...

Kennan is doing great! We have had a few "incidents" (poking Brayden in the eye, biting her foot-only once, and climbing on the AC unit in his room), but other than that he is a joy! He has such a great memory! Yesterday, Kenny and I were discussing the grocery list and Kennan was sitting at the table with us. About 30 minutes later, Kennan started rattling off everything we needed from the store...broccoli, milk, carrots, croutons, etc. He remembered almost everything! Now, it was a short list, but that's pretty impressive!! Here is Kennan with "Tom the Turkey" that we made before Thanksgiving...

Kenny is doing great. Since he recently passed all of his ordination exams, we are in the process of writing his resume and cover letters. We are looking for job openings and are excited about the possibility of talking to churches. I continue to be amazed at ALL that he does. He reads multiple books a week (200+ pages a book), writes papers, leads discussions, works 12 hours a week, and is still a caring husband and wonderful father. I have no idea how he does it. I always give him a hard time about not being able to multi-task, but after looking at the long list of the things he does, I have to admit he must be pretty good at it! I love him so much and am look forward to each new day with him.

I continue to enjoy staying home with the kids. I have to admit that days are better when both kids nap...I tend to be in a much better mood when Kenny gets home! I love being around for all of Brayden's smiles and giggles, and to watch Kennan as he learns new things everyday. I am also working to get my continuing education hours so that I can keep my teaching certificate in Texas. This is not easy, but I am working on it. I am really looking forward to next week when Brayden and I head off to Texas for Jill's wedding. It will be nice to spend some time with friends and family.

I guess that is about it for us...anyone out there?? Comments are appreciated!!

Brayden is so adorable!! I titally think she needs to be Jackson's first girlfriend, haha.

Seriously though, you have such a sweet family. I LOVE the picture of Kenny and Kennan - you can tell he's such a good dad.

Sounds like things are going great in New Jersey. I hope you and Brayden have a safe trip here and back. I'm always checking your blog (even if I don't leave a comment), but it's definitely nice to know people are out there.
