Here we go!!!

Today is the day...bring on the potty training! Today is the first day in our attempt to potty train Kennan. Anyone have any advice??

Oh yeah, if you read this blog...please comment!! I know you are out there. People in Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, even the Middle East!! I want to know who you are and it's okay if I don't know you! Maybe we can be friends...

And for those of you who asked where I got the layout...it's from PYZAM.COM...

I often wonder who reads my blog each day too....it's kind of nerve wracking sometimes to see over 75 hits in one day and no comments!! yikes!!

looks like y'all had fun in TX

my potty training advice : let HIM lead the way!!! Rewards work well too, but with my hard headed one he decided the day that was the time for him to just do it....and he's never looked back.

Sodas work as good rewards....they also help make pee pee

Hey...I tried to load one of those layouts from that site, and it tells me that it is going to delete "widgets" - my links list on my blog. Did it do that to you?? Why won't it let me download one?

Jennifer,

Thanks so much for the comment on my blog. Yes, please do link us to your blog, we'll link to yours, too. Your babies are adorable! Congratulations on Brayden, she looks so sweet and Kennan's cowboy outfit is too cute! ~Brittany Skloss~

Hey! I love the new pictures! Potty training... well we've been trying for awhile now. Emma totally knows what the potty is and will go in it, no problem. The problem? She is not good about telling me when she does need to go.
For awhile (before we were working on remodeling the house) she was doing really well, she would go at least 2 or 3 times a day on the potty, but we have a major set back with the twins I watch being in diapers and the craziness of remodeling.
So, what worked for us? A sticker chart was wonderful for awhile. She still likes it occasionally. I also got her a potty book that she really liked reading and wanted to read everytime we went potty.
Best of luck! Let me know what works for you, we will be restarting the process soon, with full force! :)

Jennifer, I remember you too. Your kids are cute! Looks like our littlest girls are close to the same age. I bet you really enjoyed your TX trip- we have one coming up and I'm excited. It's hard being a displaced Texan! :0) Good luck with potty training. I can only tell you what NOT to do since I did it all wrong with Abbey, but I like the book "Mommy I have to go potty" by Jan Faull. Thanks for leaving a comment!

Finn really liked the Elmo who talks and sits down on the potty. There's a book that goes with it. Also don't ask him if he has to go just put him on the potty like every hour. Good luck with that!
