Three little pumpkins

A Fun Photo Shoot...

I thought it would be fun to do a photo shoot of the kids tonight and it went surprisingly well (a brownie dessert was on the line...).

I asked the kids to show me something that they love to do when they go in the backyard.

And Grayson really didn't get a choice, but he loves swinging!!

Inquiring minds would like to know...

What do you do with all of your kid's artwork and papers?
How do you store them?
Do you keep the best and throw the rest away?

My problem: I currently have no system for storage and that is made obvious by the stack of papers that is growing on a cabinet in my home. I am not afraid of throwing things away...if I didn't I would have about 20 times the amount of stuff that I have now.

So, please enlighten me...and the rest of my 4 readers. What do you do?

7 Months Old!

On Sunday, October 3rd we had Grayson baptized. It was such a special day for our family and our sweet baby boy!

Grayson had his first high chair experience (and loved it!!!) on Saturday, October 1.
Grayson turned 7 months old yesterday, October 9.
We went outside for a little photo shoot...

Many women pay big bucks to have hair that poofs like this!

They spend lots of money on hairspray, clips, and these things. I am proud to say I had to spend absolutely nothing and put no work into this hairdo! Jealous?

On a serious note, we are crazy about our sweet girl. We love everything about her: her wit, her compassion, her craziness, her drama, her hair. Poor girl has been given a head full of thin, crazy, curly hair. I know it will thicken up one of these days and be easier to style.
For now, we do what we can.

Yay Grayson!

When Grayson was 5 months and 1 week old we tried solid foods. He hated them. He cried when he saw the spoon...even if it didn't have food on it! I persevered through it for 2 1/2 weeks. And then gave up. Eating should be a fun time! Not miserable for baby and mommy. So we stopped for a few weeks and started up yesterday. I'm happy to report that today was a good day! He ate some carrots like a champ...and enjoyed himself!

This looks like a sad face, but I promise he wasn't!

I went to get Grayson after his early evening nap and saw his forehead...

When I went in to get him he was on his tummy. I think he fell asleep on his tummy with his hands pressing against his forehead. He had a perfect hand print imprinted on his forehead! Haha!
