When Grayson was 5 months and 1 week old we tried solid foods. He hated them. He cried when he saw the spoon...even if it didn't have food on it! I persevered through it for 2 1/2 weeks. And then gave up. Eating should be a fun time! Not miserable for baby and mommy. So we stopped for a few weeks and started up yesterday. I'm happy to report that today was a good day! He ate some carrots like a champ...and enjoyed himself!

I went to get Grayson after his early evening nap and saw his forehead...
When I went in to get him he was on his tummy. I think he fell asleep on his tummy with his hands pressing against his forehead. He had a perfect hand print imprinted on his forehead! Haha!

Cole has had hand impressions on his face too! He didn't like food right away either... but now I can't feed it to him fast enough!

ah- you capture pics so well! D. is eating solids and between each bite he is leaning forward and making a wah sound until more food is put in. Hoping G. continues to gobble up the veggies and fruits! It amazes me our little boys are ready for solids already! (:
