Well...

Kennan is sick again. I missed church today...that's 4 weeks in a row. Is it okay for the pastor's wife to be gone that much??

Anyway, enough of that. Here are some pictures of the 2 days we were healthy this week...
Reading and relaxing on the couch...
Doing a little cookie making...

Taste testing...
and decorating.
And then we put them to work!
I really hope this is the end of our sickness. I am ready for fun days like these!!

Further proof to the post below...

Doctor's verdict: Kennan has strep throat.
YUCK.YUCK.YUCK.

We just can't catch a break...

Brayden: Throw up and fever, doctor's appointment yesterday.
The verdict: ear infection, right ear

Kennan: 100.3 fever and a little throw up this morning,
doctor's appointment this afternoon

Jennifer: Pink eye, right eye

Kenny: healthy as can be...for now!

I feel like we have been sick around here for the last 3 weeks...oh, wait...we have! Hopefully we are getting it all out of the way before Christmas and the New Year!

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Brrrr...all I can say is that I am glad I have no where to go today! It is currently 10 degrees in our town with a wind chill of
-4 degrees! In the three years we lived in NJ, I don't remember temps like this! And to top it off, as I write this...it is starting to snow!

Did you know that my sweet husband has a blog? He started it a few months ago, but hasn't done much with it. I believe he is beginning to write in it more and thought you would want to check it out. Don't forget to comment so he knows you are reading!

Lots of Laughs!

The kids have had some silly moments in the past few days which provide Kenny and I with lots of laughs (and memories)! I thought I would share...

Kennan asleep the other night...his Santa hat is his "sleeping hat"! Brayden found a diaper that fit her head perfectly!! (And put it on there herself...it was not our idea!)

Brayden's favorite seat in the house!

Fun in the Snow!

Yesterday we enjoyed our first snow! It started sometime in the middle of the night and lasted through the early evening. Kennan and Kenny braved the cold first to go to school and work, and then had some fun playing in the snow!
Kennan enjoying some snow before school.
I'm gonna get you daddy!
And he's off!!!

Warming up over a glass of hot chocolate...
Cheers!
Our holly bush!
My poor little, pink-eyed baby girl...

It has warmed up today and the snow and icicles are melting. But, my boys enjoyed it while it lasted!

Pinkeye:3 (Kennan had both eyes)
Kennan and Brayden: 1 (Brayden has one eye)
My hands are dry and cracked from all of the handwashing. I am on laundry load number 5 in the past 2 days. YUCK.YUCK.YUCK

Point of Grace, Winter Wonderland

Okay, I have shared my favorites. What are your yours??

Snapfish

Has anyone else ever used this website?? I have used it in the past for ordering picture prints and for making calendars. This Christmas I have become a very valued customer...spending a nice amount of money on their products. They are having some really great deals right now!! Do you use Snapfish or any other company for things like this??

Also, what are you getting for the man in your life this Christmas?? And if you are a man, what are you asking for?? (You can comment anonymously if you are worried about giving your gift idea away to that special someone!) My man hasn't been too detailed about what he wants...

I can't believe it's December!!

We had a great Thanksgiving break and have so much to be thankful for. It was wonderful to go home and be with family and friends. Here are a few (okay, a lot) of pictures from our quick trip home!
Brayden and Pops playing peekaboo!

This never gets old! Playing chase! Looks like Pops and dad caught Brayden! With my parents and brother on Thanksgiving. An attempt at a family picture...didn't go as planned! Kennan and cousin Emma playing chase.
Kennan and Lala throwing the frisbee for the dog...except this time the frisbee went straight for me. Kennan and Lala thought it was pretty funny! The day after Thanksgiving...I think we are wearing every color of the rainbow!
Sweet girl! A cowboy and his horse...Kennan helping Grumpy with the sweet potatoes...really he just wanted to eat the marshmallows off the top! On Saturday we went to Main Street in Grapevine. You should go there on the weekends...it is decorated way cute and we had lots of fun! Kenny and Kennan with Uncle Chris and Grumpy. Kennan played games with the Santa on stilts! Brayden wasn't too sure what to think about Mrs. Claus and Rudolph. This one is for my dad...here are the lights on top of our house. Kenny worked hard and they look great! (They are the LED kind. They save energy and don't get hot...but I am not sure if I like the blue tint they give off...)

I know it won't always be this way...

but I am going to take advantage of it while it lasts! Over the last few days Kennan and Brayden have actually been playing together (and enjoying it)! I am documenting this to show them in a few years when they can't stand eachother.

Here they are building Mutsy (Kennan's lovey) a dog house...
Playing on the playground...
Digging in the dirt...
Playing in the house with Kennan's sack of goodies (he is pretending to be Santa these days)...
This was after Brayden had been spinning in circles and fell down into Kennan. I think she was trying to knock him over...
Something must have been funny!

Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet.
