8 Months Old!

What is going on with our sweet boy at 8 months?

Blowing raspberries is Grayson's new trick!

He likes to have lots of toy options.

Check out that drool! His first tooth came in on Halloween (just in time for Halloween candy...NOT!). His second tooth popped through a few days later!

Attempting to crawl! He will get up on all 4's and rock back and forth, then slide backwards. It is pretty frustrating for him to not get where he is trying to go!

When he woke up from his nap today he was partially undressed! Notice the hair sticking out over his ear? I'm thinking he might have some curls coming in!

We attempted a photo shoot outside this evening but the mulch was a lot more exciting than the camera!

So we went inside and he smiled for daddy!

Tonight we celebrated Grayson's 8 month birthday with cupcakes. Okay, not really. The cupcakes are a few days old, but it was a good excuse to have some tonight!
Brayden's exact words, "Um mom, I think I might be a little messy." You think?!?!

Kennan gives them a thumb up!

And Grayson says, "Wait. It's my birthday. Where is my cupcake?"

It's all fun and games until someone's hair gets pulled.

We love our little man and are so blessed with him in our lives. (Here's a wordy update, just so I have something to look back on!)

*He is starting to be a better solid food eater, but definitely has his favorites. Pears, applesauce, squash and sweet potato are about all he eats.
*Grayson used to sleep through the night like a champ but the last 2 months have been rough. We are trying to get him back on a good night time schedule...we all need the sleep!
*Grayson loooves Kennan and Brayden and they love him back. They like to argue over who gets to sit by him at meal times...Brayden has even resorted to stealing Kennan's seat so she can sit by him! Silly girl.
*For the most part Grayson is in good spirits all of the time. He will let you know when he isn't happy and can calm down pretty quickly once his life is made right again.
*He likes to go on walks with Kenny and is a good car-rider and errand runner (like he has a choice!).
Kenny and I are both thinking Grayson is our last kiddo so we are soaking up every minute and trying to remember all of his milestones. He is such a joy in our lives!
