37 Weeks (almost!!)

Tomorrow marks 37 weeks of Grayson being in my tummy. I went to the doctor on Tuesday and had an ultrasound. He looks great and is already measuring 7 lbs 1 oz. This totally blows my mind (I do know they can be off a few ounces) because I have never had a baby this big!!

When Kennan was born he weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and he was 3 days late.
Brayden was 9 days early and was 6 lbs 13 oz.
The doctor thinks Grayson will probably be in the low 8's.

I keep wondering who he is going to look like. Is he going to have hair? (the ultrasound showed some) Will he have blue eyes like the kids and me or brown like his daddy? The kids are getting pretty excited about meeting him...or maybe they are more excited about the fun things they are going to get to do when he is born. We've told them they will go swimming at the hotel pool and get to go to Chuck E Cheese with the grandparents.

How am I doing? I am thrilled that I lost a pound over the last 2 weeks!! Makes up for the ton I gained the month before that. I am pretty uncomfortable with lots of lower back pain which makes sleeping pretty much non-existent. Here's to hoping for a February baby!

Very exciting! (And don't worry--you can totally do a baby in the low 8s.) Do you know there's a PTS/Dupree mother who had twins this week who were 7 lb. 13 oz. and 8. lb. 5 oz.? I was completely floored when we got the announcement!

Full term now--that is good news. Hope the remaining time goes quickly! You are almost there. :-)
