For the Record...

Having a stomach bug when you are 28 weeks pregnant (or any time for that matter) is NO FUN!

Today was Kennan's Christmas party at school and I was called on Monday to call the other mom's and organize it. Okay, I can do that. Well, go figure I get sick and can't go.

This is where my incredible, superman of a hubby steps in. He takes Kennan to school at 8:30. Then he comes home from work and makes 18 PB&J sandwiches (which for future reference was entirely too many). He loads up the car and takes Brayden with him to the 10:45 party. Then he brings everyone home and heads out to speak at a luncheon. After the luncheon he comes home and spends the rest of the day with the kids...

All this to say I am grateful for Kenny and the kids...that I was able to rest on a day when I wasn't feeling at my best! And no worries about Grayson. I believe he has been more active today than any other day!!!

Why does it always seem to work that way? I baked 50-60 sugar cookies for Hannah's preschool's Winter Program, only to leave Hannah at home with a 102* fever while I go run the preschool show for everyone's but my own kid. I think the key is to not volunteer to do anything and then everything will go swimmingly. Too bad I can't actually act on that...

Jennifer, I feel for you guys. We all had Swine Flu when I was about 30-31 weeks pregnant. I coughed non-stop for two straight weeks. It was miserable. We also had a stomach bug earlier in my pregnancy. Now, I'm 39 1/2 weeks pregnant with major sinus stuff going on. I'm SO ready to get this baby out. It's rough having young kids while being pregnant. Hang in there!
