Our town has a putt-putt course and hawaiian shaved ice stand (much better than a sno cone) that just so happens to be down the street from our house. We went there a lot last summer when we moved here (and the owners go to our church), so needless to say, when it closed for the winter Kennan was quite upset. For the past few months anytime we passed it, he would inspect for any activity going on to determine whether or not it was open for the spring. Well, much to Kennan's delight they opened for the season on May 1st, which conveniently had a high of 55 for the day with rain. Putt-putting was out of the question...but you better believe we were there for the shaved ice about an hour after they opened. We took the treat home with us to eat and have already been back one more time!!
Trying to decide what flavor to order...

It only took Brayden a few seconds to discover that the "big" kids were having all of the fun so she decided to join them!
