This is really happening......

A For Sale sign in the yard...
{I blurred the information...the sign doesn't really look like that!!}
A lock box on the door....
LOTS of boxes....
Empty closets....
All only mean ONE thing....WE ARE MOVING!!!
Kenny has accepted a call as Pastor at a church in Somewhere, Texas! {I don't want to post specific information, but it's enough to say that our new home will be less that an hour from my parents and a little over an hour from Kenny's family.} We've told our kids and church family. The kids were pretty sad at first to be leaving their friends, but have now warmed up to the idea. They have seen the new town, rent house, schools and church and are pretty excited about meeting new friends. Our church family here is extremely sad to see us go and we are sad to leave them. They have been nothing but gracious, generous, kind and welcoming since our first day here in 2008. They took a chance on a just-out-of-Seminary pastor and have given him opportunities to grow as a leader, preacher and teacher. We will NEVER, EVER, EVER forget our time here. All that to say, we are excited about what God has in store for our future. We are praying the the move goes well, that we transition into a new town and church easily and that we sell our house!!!!! Join us as we continue on our journey!!!

Celebrating Kennan!

Our sweet Kennan Joshua is a Spring Break baby, so celebrations tend to last over a long period of time. The Friday before Spring Break we had cupcakes up at school with his friends. His actual birthday day was on a Friday and we started the day with donuts!
Since it was Spring Break, we were visiting family so Kennan got to pick where we ate and what we did. He chose Pie Five for lunch with Grammy, Pops and Uncle Kyle. YUMMY!

Then we were off to celebrate with Lala, Grumpy, Uncle Chris and Kindra. Chuck E Cheese is the place to be for a birthday!!

The next day we all met up for bowling (Kennan's request). The boy loves to bowl, and is pretty great at it!!

After bowling, we went back to my parents house for cake, lunch and presents.

Then, this weekend we celebrated with friends. Kennan requested a Transformers party with a few close friends. It was a great day!

We LOVE celebrating our seven year old!!

Grayson is TWO!

Our sweet Grayson Benjamin turned 2 on March 9!!!! It's so hard to believe that he has been in our lives for 2 years and we couldn't imagine our family without him!
Having a birthday donut with friends!

Celebrating Grayson!

We celebrated Grayson's birthday with some friends the week before he turned 2. He's pretty much in love with Mickey Mouse right now, so a Mickey party it was!!

(And this is what Grayson did to his tent just ONE day after his party. He discovered a red sharpie...we didn't take it too personally because he also colored his face and our bedroom door.)

Loose Tooth, Part 2

The tooth finally came out! With a little tugging from dad, and a few friends looking on...out came the tooth!!!

The Loose Tooth

Kennan has had this loose tooth for a few months now. He went to the dentist yesterday and the dentist said that this tooth needs to come out ASAP! This is what Kennan thinks about that...
So, we tried this afternoon. The apple didn't work...
Daddy giving a few tugs didn't work...
And the constant wiggling didn't work...
It's still hanging in there!!!!
You can see that the permanent tooth has already come in behind it! I tell Kennan that he looks like a shark and he thinks that's pretty cool. Maybe that's why he's hanging on to it and it won't come out!

ALMOST 2!!!!

This pacifier and blankie lovin',
sometimes naked,
crazy haired,
sometimes still and calm,
messy boy
Is going to be 2 in 10 days!!!
How can that be????
