It's a.....
BOY!!!
We had a great visit today! Baby Boy is measuring 20 wks 3 days, so they bumped my due date up from the 17th of March to the 12th. He looks perfectly healthy and even played a little peek-a-boo, covering his face with his hands! The kids and I both guessed girl right before the technician told us, Kenny guessed boy! For once he was right (and he hasn't rubbed it in my face...yet!!!).
For all of you who guessed "boy" in the comments, be watching the blog...one of you will win a prize! And we will be announcing his name soon!

Tomorrow!!
Tomorrow morning we hope to find out what baby #3 will be!!!
Have you voted in the poll yet?
Have you left a comment with your guess? (You have to leave a comment because the poll doesn't tell me who made each choice.) I am going to draw a lucky winner from the correct comment guesses to win a prize!
You have a few more hours!

A Poll...
Next Monday, the 26th, we will be heading to the "big" town for my 20 week appointment and sonogram. The kids are super excited about finding out if they are going to be welcoming a brother or sister. In honor of this event, I have put a poll on the right sidebar. Vote and let us know what you think and then comment on why you guessed what you did. Who knows? I might just draw a winner out of all of the correct comment guesses and send them a prize!!!
A few facts for your consideration:
~With Kennan, I felt from day one he would be a boy...and I was right.
~With Brayden, I felt from day one she would be a girl...and I was right.
~From day one with this one I have had no clue...but am lately leaning towards girl.
~Morning sickness: No throwing up, but a lot more nauseous then I was with the other two!
~Food Aversion: Anything with barbecue sauce. YUCK!
~Cravings: Nothing really. I like to eat something sweet followed by something salty. I did crave a pickle the other night. Good thing we had some!

For Your Viewing Pleasure...
Here are 2 videos with some fun things we've been up to...
P.S. If you are reading this from google reader, you might want to click on the post and read it from the blog. I had some uploading issues.
P.S.S. No comments on this post would make this blogger very sad...I spent over an hour trying to get these videos to work. I hope you enjoy my hard work and my cuties!!
Here is Brayden saying her "A, D, C's", Kennan singing a Halloween song, and Brayden counting to 8!!
Here are a few clips from one of Kennan's soccer games. This is 4 year old soccer at its best...some kicking of the ball, some falling, and a lot of running around! Kennan is the blonde #5 of the blue team!

Wanted
Am I the only person who finds it impossible to find kid's waterproof gloves with the fingers?? All I can ever find are the ones without the fingers. Anyone out there have a good set of gloves for your kiddos? Where did you find them? Do you like them? And one more thing...I don't want to spend an arm and a leg!!

Still Here!
Don't worry, faithful blog readers...I'm still here! I feel like we haven't been up to much lately, so let's just see where this blog post takes us...
*I have been sick/congested/miserable/snotty/headachey for the last few days. I would feel better, then get worse, and then started to have a fever. Last night I was having trouble catching my breath and my heart was racing. I have never done this...but I had Kenny take me to the ER. If I wasn't pregnant I think I would have waited until this morning to see a doctor, but you know what they say "Healthy momma=Healthy baby". Thankfully we live in a small town so we were only at the ER for 1 1/2 hours. My oxygen count thingy was fine...almost perfect. With the baby growing and pushing on my diaphragm along with all of the congestion explained the breathing part of my problems. My heart rate was 136 when we got there which is pretty fast for someone who had been on the couch for the last 2 days! They think the medicine I was taking caused my heart to race. By the time we left it was down to 109. Negative tests for Influenza A and B as well as Strep. We heard the baby's heartbeat and knew that he/she was okay. Final diagnosis was Upper Respiratory Infection. I felt kinda silly once we left knowing that nothing was really wrong (and will probably be kicking myself once we get the bill!!!!), but we definitely had peace of mind and I had a great night's sleep last night!
*Baby update: I was feeling better this morning so we went in to my regular OB appointment. He gave me an antibiotic for the URI and checked my pulse...down to 96! I am 16 1/2 weeks along and feeling pretty good. Put on a hefty amount of pounds this month, but that's okay! We heard the baby's heartbeat today which is always a wonderful sound. We go back in 3 weeks, on the 26th, for the 20 week ultrasound! Any guesses?? Boy or girl?

Kennan's school had a pre-school sing-a-long the other day. Look at that cutie!

Happy Fall!!
I am attempting to make Pumpkin Buns (think pumpkin flavored cinnamon rolls) to go with our brinner (breakfast-dinner) tonight. The house smells of fresh baked dough which is amazing! Jury is still out on if they will be good or not...I'll have to post the recipe and review tomorrow. We are also having a breakfast casserole and fresh fruit.
Another great thing about today...the kids are still in their jammies!! I have showered and am in warm comfy clothes also! What a great start to fall!

First Soccer Game!
Disclaimer: Normally, I won't do a post with 10 pictures from a soccer game. But, this is my blog and this was the FIRST soccer game so I think I have a right to do it just this once.

My boy and his handsome coach...
Kennan showing off his number and muscles!
Kennan's first soccer game was great! We have 6 boys on the team...4 of them are 4 and 2 are 5. It was pretty obvious this morning that we have a pretty young team and that most of our boys had never played before. It's a good thing they let the coaches help out on the field and an even better thing that they don't really "keep score". Nevertheless, the boys had a fantastic time!!!!!
And not to be left out...
This is a typical day in the life of Brayden. Pants off, something of Kennan's on, and a huge mess. This particular day she felt the need to wear Kennan's sandals and decided she wanted to have some chex mix...which she poured herself (evidence on the coffee table).

Soccer!!!
Kennan has been waiting for this day for at least a year. For the last 6 months he has been telling people that he is signed up for soccer. Well, his dreams came true today...his first soccer practice! Kenny is coaching, along with a good friend, but he was on his own tonight. It went well and we are excited about the first game!
