We're ready for Christmas!

Carols have been sung.
Kennan getting on the bus after singing at a nursing home.
Parties have been fun.
More songs have been sung.
Prayers have been said.
Reindeer have been made.
Smiles have been smiled.
A present (for each child) has been opened.
Grayson didn't quite get it.
Brayden knew exactly what to do.
And Kennan was a little excited about the jammies he received. At least his reaction was better than last year's. The kids opened some snowman jammies to wear tonight when we have family movie and popcorn night. And school is out for 2 weeks! Another reason to celebrate...or is it?!?!

Snow Fun!

It started snowing sometime in the middle of the night and has continued off and on through out the day.
Kennan got out of school around noon and then it was time to come home and play in the snow!

This was Grayson's first snow experience. He was pretty calm and took it all in...like he usually does.

Kennan made snow angels...
Brayden threw snow balls at me...
And so did Kenny...
Then my protector got Kenny back for me!

A 9 Month Comparision

Kennan Joshua at 9 months (December 2005)
Brayden Lynn at 9 months (May 2007)
Grayson Benjamin at 9 months (December 2010)

Any thoughts? Does one favor another more than the other?

9 Months!

Our sweet Grayson Benjamin turned 9 months on the 9th. Where has the time gone?

Here is a sneak peak at his Christmas outfit for this year...isn't he the cutest thing you've ever seen?
As of Monday, December 6, Grayson is officially a crawler. He most recently found himself stuck under the table and wasn't quite sure how to get out. I thought that our hardwood and stone floors might trick him a little, but his little knees don't slide at all!
Grayson is very curious. He pulled this box off the lowest shelf, tipped it over, and enjoyed playing with all of the goodies he found.
Waving bye-bye has been fun to teach Grayson. Sometimes I think he really gets it, other times it might just be a coincidence.
We had a well baby check on Monday and we got a 2 thumbs up report from the doctor. Grayson is 16.8 pounds and 28.5 inches long. His weight has definitely slowed down...but we aren't concerned. The boy is definitely a nurser and not so much into baby/table food.
Grayson LOVES shoes. It doesn't matter if they are his shoes or a strangers...the boy is obsessed with them. We have to make sure to put them away after we take them off or he is there in 5.2 seconds.
Grayson is very easy going and laid back. He is not afraid to let us know if he needs something, but once that need is met he is good to go. The picture below was my clue that our photo session was over...he was more interested in my camera strap than anything else!

Playing Catch Up

I can't believe it's been so long since I blogged last. Here's an attempt to catch up...

This was taken the week all of the kids were sick. Daddy knows how to make everyone feel better!
This little guy turned 9 months old today...more on that in another post (hopefully sooner rather than later).

Professional Portraits

The last time we had professional portraits done with my family, Kennan was 14 months old. So we decided to get some done while we were visiting family for Thanksgiving.
The last time we had pictures done of just our family, Brayden was 6 months old. I guess you could say our family has changed a little since then!
