We're on the home stretch!

Only 32 days until we leave for the great state of Texas!! Part of me can't believe it is really happening and part of me can't wait! Here's what we have left to do...

1.Kenny studies and writes his 4 final exam papers.
2.Kenny turns in all of his work on May 5.
3.Relax and celebrate for 12 days.
4.Kenny graduates on May 17 (and celebrates his 28th birthday)!!!
5.Spend the next 11 days cleaning out the apartment and more celebrating.
6.Movers come on May 28th.
7.Hit the road to Texas on May 29th!!

After writing it all out, we really don't have much left to do. WOW!!! Here are some pictures!

Princeton has a fair downtown every year called Communiversity. We went yesterday and had lots of fun! Kennan and Kenny explored the ambulances and fire engines, we ate lots of yummy fair food (cotton candy, funnel cakes, hot dogs), and enjoyed some music.

Kennan got a summer cut!! We didn't mean for it to turn out like this, but the lady cutting his hair did! Oh well, I think it makes him look older!

She's on the move!

Sorry to leave you hanging after my last post...things have been crazy! I promise to update soon and tell all about our trip to Texas and the exciting things that are happening. For now, I leave you with this!!

There's a new pastor in town...

That's right folks, we're moving to Pampa, Texas!!! Pampa is in the Texas panhandle, about 50 miles north east of Amarillo. Kenny is going to be the solo pastor at the First Presbyterian Church (a congregation of about 140 people). We love the church, the congregation, the town, and all of the possibilities and opportunities Pampa has in store for us.

Kenny preached at the church yesterday and the church held a meeting after the service. They approved his call to the church and we accepted!! Kenny today when we went to show my parents the church. It was locked and we couldn't get in!! Thought this picture was funny...an appropriate caption might be "Hey guys, did you change your mind??"

We are heading to Texas today!! Kenny is meeting with a very important committee on Friday and then preaching for a congregation on Sunday. If all goes well, I hope to have some very exciting news to share when we get back next Wednesday. Keep us in your prayers! Here are some pictures to hold you over until then...

Hey friends (and stalkers!!)!! With the help of our friend Andrew (Kristina's husband) I got a video posted!!! This will definetly be the first of many more to come! Here is Brayden showing off her talents! Enjoy!!

Carissa was here!!

Our good friend Carissa came to visit us this week! We had so much fun while she was here and it was great to be able to hang out and visit. Here is a photo tour of what we did while she was here... We went to Liberty State Park to see the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the New York City skyline.

We went to the old New Jersey train station that used to transport people from Ellis Island. Kennan pretended that this bench was his train (he is obviously the conductor!)
The passengers on Kennan's train (yes, Brayden is playing with Kenny's Dr.Pepper bottle...gotta start early!!) On Thursday we walked around the campus of Princeton University. Carissa had her turn on the stairs...
so Kennan had to have a turn also!
